Extech 45118 Mini Thermo Anemometer Details
The Extech 45118 is capable of both measuring the amount of air velocity in an application and also the overall temperature. Each of these parameters is measured at the same time and displayed as a dual reading on the built-in LCD display of the 45118.
Designed with special fold-up protective housing that extends the overall grip surface of the instrument, the Extech 45118 can get into applications that might be just out of reach using a normal anemometer. When folded together this housing extends the overall length of the tester to 9".
Air velocity can be measured in several different ways on the 45118. It can measure in ft/min with range of 100 to 5500 ft/min, metres per second with range of 0.5 to 28m/s, kilometres per second with range of 1.8 to 100.6km/h, miles per hour with range of 1.1 to 62.5MPH, knots with range of 1.0 to 54.3 knots and Beaufort Force with measurement of 1 to 17BF. All measurements can be made with selectable 5, 10 or 13 second intervals.
The 45118 is also capable of measuring temperature levels and windchill between 0 to 122°F (-18 to 50°C) and whenever measurements are taken users can freeze the result on screen using the data hold function.
It's also been built to last - the Extech 45118 is water resistant and has been drop tested to six feet.
