Description

Despite its tiny size the Extech EA30 is capable of carrying out measurements of light over an extremely wide range.
An improved version of the Extech EA31, this device is capable of carrying out measurements of light in both footcandles and lux with easy switching between the two parameters. This light meter can measure footcandles up to 40000Fc in 4 ranges and 400000 lux in 5 ranges and all measurements are carried out with basic accuracy rating of ±3%rdg + 0.5%FS and high resolution of 0.01 for using the device in low light applications.
The sensor that the EA30 uses is attached directly to the main testing body via a 3ft coiled cable. This means it is easy to extend the sensor to exactly where you need it and it uses a precision silicon photodiode sensor to make sure measurements are as accurate as possible.
As well as these functions the EA30 also includes a number of additional functions such as MIN/MAX readings and a data hold function for temporarily storing the last detected value on the devices' LCD screen.
