This portable noise dosimeter is designed for being carried around by a person in environments where measuring noise over a time period is of extreme importance. This unit is most recommended for use in personal accumulated noise assessments, workplace noise assessments or for adhering to the rules and regulations of OSHA and other regulatory bodies.

Featuring measurement range of 70-140dBA and a range of advanced features such as adjustable criterion level, exchange rate and threshold, this unit allows users to capture sound exactly how they want.  It is a datalogging dosimeter, which means that this tester has built in memory and can be used to store records over a time period. This data can then be download to PC via the use of an RS-232 and interacted with via a software package that is included with the dosimeter.
When completing sound level meter measurement the 407355 features the ability to store up to 4500 records. When used as a dosimeter surveyor the device can store up to 5 dosimeter surveys with information about start/stop time, %Dose, TWA and peak flags.

When testing in Lo mode this device can measure from a range of 35 to 100dB. If you're in a more noisy application you can use the High mode, which bumps up the overall measurement range of this device to 65 to 135dB.
