The Oregon 650 is impact resistant and has a touch screen that is stronger than its predecessors yet is still glove friendly. With ability to mark up to 4,000 waypoints there is no limit to where you can go.
This rugged handheld rapidly responds to your every command with dual-band GPS/GLONASS satellite positioning. Built in sensors give you precise information with HotFix satellite prediction, with a tilt compensated 3-axis electronic compass and barometric altimeter sensors. The Oregon 650’s dual battery system means you can go the distance with internally rechargeable NiMH pack (included) or AA batteries. The NiMH pack charges when the 650 is connected to external power source. The Garmin Oregon 650 has an 8 megapixel digital camera, with auto focus built in so there’s no need to carry more than necessary. You can even geo tag your photos and navigate to them later if you wish.
