Description
Basically three testers in one, the Extech MA250 is a digital clamp meter, digital multimeter and non-contact voltage detector all rolled together into one comprehensive unit.
The MA250 features large jaws with 1.2" (30mm) spacing for clamping onto conductors up to 500MCM and allows users to gain measurements of current without the need to break circuits. It also includes several multimeter functions such as measurements of AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, duty cycle, diode and continuity.
The non-contact voltage detector function of the MA250 means all you have to do to detect live voltage and test safely is hold this digital clamp meter near to the suspected voltage source. The tester will then let you know if the presence of voltage is detected.
The Extech MA250 is EN 61010-1 compliant and is also CAT III 600V safety rated.
